Tell your AI assistant what you need — a burst pipe, a dead AC, a fridge that stopped cooling. No forms. No hunt for “who to call.”

Give the OK
Your assistant shows a short consent notice that says who will get your request: OpenFix’s partner network of local pros, or the one company we name to you. Nothing is shared until you agree. Then you add your name and phone number so the pro can reach you.

Talk to a local pro
OpenFix gives you a number to call right away, and your details go ahead of you so you don’t have to repeat yourself. Where we work with a named company instead, that company calls you. Pros are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing and work.
That’s it. OpenFix doesn’t send a crew to your house. We’re the connector — like OpenTable for home fixes — so you spend less time searching and more time getting it fixed.

Trust & consent
We take your privacy and your phone number seriously.
- You decide. We only share your contact details after you agree to the disclosure we show in your AI assistant.
- You choose who gets your request. We send it only to the recipient you agree to: OpenFix’s partner network of local pros, or the one company we name. We don’t send it anywhere else, and we don’t sell your information.
- No surprise spam pitch. Consent is tied to this request — not a blank check forever.

FAQ
Is OpenFix a contractor?
No. We don’t employ plumbers or own a truck fleet. We connect you with a local pro, either through OpenFix’s partner network when you call the number we give you, or through one company we name to you.
Will someone show up at my door unannounced?
No. You call the pro yourself, or the company named to you calls you after you agree. You schedule any visit yourself.
Do I pay OpenFix?
No. OpenFix is free for you. The network or company you’re connected with pays us for the connection. Always get a written estimate from the pro before work starts.
Where does OpenFix work?
United States only, for plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair. You must be 18 or older to use OpenFix.
What if you can’t help?
If we don’t cover your city or trade, your AI assistant will say so clearly. We won’t fake a match.
How do I ask for help?
Ask your AI assistant something like: “My AC stopped working. Get me a local HVAC pro on the phone with OpenFix.” Share your ZIP, give the OK, then add your name and phone number.
How do you use my data?
See our Privacy Policy. Short version: we use it only to connect you and to comply with the law. We share your request only when you ask us to, and only with the recipient you agree to, which pays us for the connection. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.
