1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of OpenFix, a home-services connection service operated by Starrman LLC (“OpenFix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), available through AI assistants and at getopenfix.app. By using OpenFix, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use OpenFix.
2. Who can use OpenFix
You must be 18 or older and located in the United States. By using OpenFix, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the contact details you give us are yours or that you are authorized to use them.
3. What OpenFix does
You describe a home repair need: plumbing, HVAC (heating and air), or appliance repair. If you agree, OpenFix connects you with a local pro in one of two ways. For a call-now request, we send your request to our partner network and give you a number to call, and the partner network connects you with a local pro who serves your ZIP. Where we work with a participating company, we show you that company, and it may call you about your request.
We send your request only to the recipient you agree to, and to no one else.
4. OpenFix is not a contractor
We do not employ our partner network, the pros in it, or the companies we connect you with, and we do not send crews, schedule visits, set prices, or perform or guarantee any work. Any agreement for work is between you and the pro or company. They are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing and work. Always get a written estimate before work starts.
5. Emergencies
OpenFix is not an emergency service. For a fire, gas leak, flooding near electrical systems, or a medical emergency, call 911 or your utility’s emergency line.
6. Fees
OpenFix is free for you. The network or company that receives your request pays us for the connection.
7. Calls
We share your request only after you agree to our TCPA Consent Disclosure. You can revoke consent by emailing support@getopenfix.app, and you can ask anyone who calls you about your request to stop calling you.
8. Your responsibilities
Give accurate information, and use OpenFix only for real requests for your own home or a property you are authorized to arrange work for. Do not submit someone else’s contact details without their permission, harass companies or other people, or try to disrupt, scrape, or misuse OpenFix.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. You can delete your data or review your privacy choices at any time.
10. Disclaimers
OpenFix is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about any company’s work, availability, pricing, or conduct, or that OpenFix will always be available or free of errors.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Starrman LLC is not liable for the acts, work, or pricing of our partner network, any pro, or any home-service company, or for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of OpenFix. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes will be posted at https://getopenfix.app/terms with a new effective date. If you keep using OpenFix after a change, the updated terms apply.
